Workers Compensation
Workers comp covers medical costs and lost wages for employees injured on the job. Most states require it for employers.
Coverage is mandatory in nearly every state once you have employees — the threshold varies from 1 to 5 employees by state. GCs and property managers routinely require proof of workers comp from every contractor. See our state requirements pages for details.
